You turned one year old and today just a week after your first birthday, Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America and he pledged to renew our hope for the future. We want your future filled with the power of freedom, democracy, laws, and the power of the love of life, a love of all humans and creatures created by God. We want you to grow up surrounded with the love of your family even if we are living miles apart. So I will share with you our family and our past so you can walk to your future on the footprints we make. Here are your 90 year old Great Grandparents, Doris and Bob Ford at their 70th Anniversary. We gave them a cut out of Barack Obama, so Barack could honor their anniversary gathering. Your Great Grandparents lived though the history of racial hatred and discrimination and are delighted to be alive to vote and see a time when whether you are black or white, rich or poor you can achieve anything you dream.
